When is the best time to visit Japan?
Late March to early April for cherry blossom, May for mild weather, and October to November for autumn colour. Summer is hot and humid; winter is clear and good for snow trips.
Is Japan expensive?
Less than most expect. Hotels are compact but good value, transport is efficient, and food ranges from excellent cheap meals to fine dining. We quote the all-in price before you book.
