The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) turns the city into a month of offers, fireworks, concerts and events. It's one of the most popular winter trips from South India.
When it runs
DSF usually runs from early or mid December to mid January. Exact dates are announced each autumn; we confirm them when you enquire.
Book early
Flights from Kochi, Calicut, Trivandrum, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, and Dubai hotels, rise sharply over Christmas and New Year. Book eight to ten weeks ahead.
The visa
Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa unless they qualify for a visa on arrival through a US visa or a UK or EU residence permit. We apply with your package. See UAE visa for Indians.
What it costs
The total depends on your dates, airport and hotel. A four-night family trip with flights, hotel, visa, desert safari and city tour is our most common booking. Ask us for a quote for your dates.
Make the most of it
- Stay near a metro line to get around easily.
