Flights to Kerala from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah: how to save
Onam, Eid and the school holidays drive fares to Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut. Here's how our ticketing desk plans around them.

Kerala is the biggest destination search from the UAE, and the routes home to Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut are among the busiest in the Gulf. Prices still spike around Onam, Eid, Christmas and the summer school break. A few rules from our Dubai ticketing desk:
Peak dates: book eight to ten weeks ahead
The cheapest fare classes on UAE–Kerala routes sell out long before departure. Waiting for a sale on peak dates rarely works.
Compare all three Kerala airports
Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut have different airlines and pricing. A fare into the next airport plus a short drive can save a family a meaningful amount.
Try Sharjah and Abu Dhabi too
Fares from Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi differ by airline. If you live between them, check all three.
Contracted fares
As an IATA agent we hold contracted fares on this corridor that aren't published online, especially for groups and one-way travel.
Change rules matter
Low-cost fares are cheap until plans change. We quote the all-in price with the change and refund rules alongside.
