A 6-day itinerary

Day 1
Thimphu
Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu. Local sightseeing and a market visit.
Day 2
Thimphu
Thimphu sightseeing: Buddha Dordenma, the local markets and cultural sights.
Day 3
Punakha
Drive to Punakha over Dochula Pass, with its 108 chortens, and visit Punakha Dzong.
Day 4
Paro
Punakha sightseeing, then drive to Paro through the Himalayan valleys.
Day 5
Paro
Hike to Paro Taktsang (the Tiger's Nest monastery) and explore Paro town.
Day 6
Departure
Breakfast, check out and transfer to Paro International Airport.
